FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST FINAL CHAPTER ONLINE

Just in case you hadn't heard, the final chapter of fullmtal Alchemist is finally online and can be found here: www.onemanga.com/Full_Metal_Al…. As soon as I have some free time from work I will be announcing a contest to celebrate all things Fullmetal Alchemist and Edward Elric. Until then enjoy the final chapter of Fullmetal and I hope you'll join me in saying a HUGE domo arigato to Arakawa-sensei for creating such an awesome story.

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD ENGLISH DUB

The English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is finally online! Click on the dubhappy.com/anime/fma-brother… to watch. So far only two episodes have been uploaded, with a new episode uploaded every Monday.

Funimation have revealed (most) of the cast for the English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The fabulous Vic Mignogna reprises his role as Edward Elric , but sadly, due to the effects of puberty the adorable Aaron Dismuke will not be able to return as Alphonse. He will however be lending his grown up voice to an as yet unnamed character later in the series. Other favourites to return are Caitlin Glass (Winry), Travis Willingham (Col. Many thanks to all who have entered!  Sorry so much for taking so long to announce the results.  Due to all the votes being for two entries I hung on for ages hoping for a 3rd place, but didn't happen! Thank you to everyone who voted too!

Rules for Entering and Voting

The entries can be either a picture (eg drawing) or fanfiction (story or poem).  They must have Edward Elric in them(but can contain any other characters too) and must be in celebration of the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime series

A maximum of 2 entries per person - one picture and one fanfiction - may be submitted.

To enter, send us a Note titled Summer Contest Entry with a link to your entry.  We will then add it to our list below.

You may enter as of 27th June and the closing date is 30th September 2009.  If you need further time to finish your entry, please note us and ask and we'll extend the time limit - to a point.

Voting will then run for one week after the contest has closed i.e. from 1st October to 7th October 2009 .

CONTESTS

For contests, we have a few options for what you can do, each with a different theme (occasionally). You can do our drawing contest where you have to draw a picture with a certain theme to it, video contest where you make a video and post it on youtube (or other site that lets you post videos) or make a flash animation and post it up, or you can do the writing contest where you write a story, poem, or song with a certain theme. The admins are allowed to participate in these contests as well, and you can participate in more than one of them if you want. Also, you can have more than one entry per contest, as long as we get it before the deadline. And in voting, only one vote is allowed per contest (one for the drawing contest, one for the video contest, and one for thw writing contest). Voting will last for at least a week, or until i get enough votes.

Current Contest:
So, as the lastest admin of the club I thought there should be a summer contest and as has been suggested by , the theme will be to celebrate the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime. The contest will run from NOW to SEPTEMBER 30th 2009, giving you all summer (i.e. July, August and September)to enter your submissions for the contest. DRAWING CONTEST
Alright, we really need a club ID for this club, and since I'm too busy with my final exams comming up, I'm leaving it up to you guys! So it's the basic "first contest is designing a club ID" thing, but as soon as we get it out of the way, we can get on with more fun clubs! And it would be nice if we could have the club's slogan on it. In case you don't know what that is, it's "Where Size Doesn't Matter" (i couldn't think of anything better ).
Sadly, we won't have the video contest or writing contest for the first time around, but hopefully we'll get this contest overwith fast! So, just send us a note with your entry when you have one. Good luck!
